Our Ignatian Partners program brings together Jesuits, Ignatian spirituality leaders, and seekers to promote the ministry of the Spiritual Exercises. We do this in partnership with current Ignatian spiritual directors, retreat directors, prayer companions, etc. Our goal is to create a community of Ignatian practitioners that can share resources, create new and innovative programming, and support each other.
We are currently assembling a Catalog of Spiritual Directors, which will allow for greater collaboration, connection, and accessability among spiritual directors and those seeking direction. If you are trained in Ignatian Spiritual direction, whether lay, Jesuit or other religious, we encourage you to participate in our catalog by filling out this brief form.
Ignatian Partners' core programs are Magis and the Ignatian Leadership for Mission (ILM) retreat. Magis is an 18-month introduction to Ignatian spirituality that consists of four weekend gatherings and an Ignatian retreat. The ILM retreat is a silent retreat in the Ignatian tradition that focuses on the graces of gratitude, healing, call, and co-laboring. Visit our Magis and ILM Retreat pages for more information.
We also provide occasional opportunities for personal and professional development for our partners. This year, we are hosting “We Walk with a Heart that Does Not Rest: An Ignatian Spirituality Conference” on April 1, 2017. Our keynote speaker will be Fr. Brian McDermott, SJ. All are welcome to participate in person at Loyola Blakefield High School in Towson, Maryland, or join us remotely through the webinar. (Click here for more information and to register.)
